High Throughput Plant Phenomics Facility
EECi BIOPOLIS offers High Throughput Plant Phenomics Facility which allows non-invasive measurement of morphological and physiological characterization of plants under different environmental conditions and cultivation parameters. This enhances precise, accurate and rapid quantitative determination of phenotypes so that phenotyping data for genetic resources can be obtained with less burden on time and effort.
The good example is that the plant with superior traits, i.e. drought tolerance, high yield, etc., can be identified and it can be selected to produce seed for further analysis and breeding.
